Polsen Health data you can sync to Health Connect

You can choose to sync all or some of the following Polsen Health data to Health Connect:

• Heart Rate
• Sleep
• Activity sessions
• Steps 
• Weight
• Height

Steps sync to Health Connect every hour. All other metrics sync when you open the Polsen Health app, so make sure to open it to keep your data up to date. 
To check what has been synced, always look in Health Connect on your phone.

How this integration works

Reading data from Health Connect
Weight and height are exported together with heart rate, sleep, activity sessions, and steps. 

Data from multiple apps
Health Connect is a central hub for your health data. Each health app writes its own data there, so information from different apps can be combined. If your step count looks incorrect, one possible cause is that the app you use to view your data (for example, Google Health) is counting its own steps in addition to the steps recorded by Polsen Health.

How to enable Health Connect in the Polsen Health app

1. Open the Polsen Health app and go to Settings (gear icon at the top left)
2. Under Settings & Data Controls, select  Health Connect
3. By default, all permissions are disabled. Tap each data type you would like to sync to enable it.

4. Return to the Polsen Health app; the integration is now active.

   

How to disable Health Connect

You can turn off the integration at any time directly from the app:

1. Open the Polsen Health app and go to Settings.
2. Under Settings & Data Controls, tap Health Connect.
3. Toggle Health Connect off.
   
   

Good to know: You can turn this integration on or off at any time from your Polsen Health Settings screen. Your data remains yours, disabling the integration stops new data from being written to Health Connect.
